Cutting Down Commercial Heat Loss

2nd September 2013

Warm air rising is a costly problem when trying to maintain floor level heat in large open buildings such as warehouses and showrooms. Adding to our list of energy efficient products, we can now supply thermostatically controlled fans to recycle warm air collected at high levels, potentially reducing heating costs by 20-50%.

Known as de-stratification units, these commercial ceiling fans recycle the warm air that would otherwise be lost, redistributing it at ground level. The units are reversible and ideal for industrial premises and buildings where roof height exceeds four meters including schools, shops, churches, sports centres and warehouses.  With a potential heat difference of 25oCelsius between floor and ceiling, it is no surprise that these devices, popular worldwide, feature in the Carbon Trust’s top 3 ways to cut commercial heating costs.
