The Green Electrician Becomes TGE Group

1st August 2013

The Green Electrician Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of renewable energy and heat technologies, has announced that the company has rebranded to TGE Group as of August 1st.

The new brand is a result of the need to reflect the company’s growth and development as a multi-technology renewable energy company and to give a strong and consistent identity that better reflects the products and services offered by the Group.

The Green Electrician Group was established in 2007 and initially focused 100% on solar PV in the domestic market.  During 2011 and 2012, the company introduced its heat division offering biomass and heat pumps, as well as an energy management team to offer energy efficiency consultation and low energy lighting solutions.

Rupert Higgin, Managing Director of TGE Group, comments: “This is yet another milestone in the development of the company, as we change our brand to reflect the diversity of our service offering. Already more than 30% of our business is in renewable heat, such as biomass boilers and heat pumps, and we anticipate this sector to match our solar PV business within a year.”

“We look forward to our continued development, reinforcing TGE Group as a leader in the UK renewable energy market and building on the customer service and sales values that have so far underpinned the success of The Green Electrician.” Rupert continued.
